The Controvercial and Incredibly Painful "Undertow"!

Undertow, a band favorite and a known crowd pleaser, began to take on a darker form once we began to record the song in the studio.  The original version, an unfinished or "scratch" track, had been recorded quickly in one afternoon by songwriter/bassist Will Crosswait.  However, no matter which way we did the song, we never could get the song to sound as edgy or raw as that unfinished version (maybe we should have used crappier equipment).  Anyway, after literally four years of tweaking, finessing, then throwing the entire song away only to start fresh, we finally got an album-worthy version.  Yet, every band member and listener still has their favorite version.  Listen to some of the earlier versions and pick your own favorite!
